A description of the noun phrases in the Lori dialect of Khorramabad

One of the modifications in Government and Binding Theory is the Functional Determiner Phrase Hypothesis. This hypothesis has made a main change in the description and analysis of Noun Phrases like the usage of a collection of specific functional projections in the upper levels of noun phrases. The functional phrases which are used in the upper level of Noun Phrases in Khorramabadi Lori Dialect are Number، Determiner and Prepositional phrases. Functional phrases which are related to nouns، do not project any semantic functions to noun phrases. But، they add specific syntactic features to them. Functional Determiner phrases allocate meaning and structure to noun phrases by means of allocating certain syntactic features specific to determiners. Prepositional Phrases expand Noun Phrases via syntactic features and adjunction relations too. The present research studies functional phrases related to nouns in Khorramabadi Lori Dialect on the base of Government and Binding Theory.
