The Relationship of Spiritual Intelligence and Spiritual Well-being with Life Quality and Marital Satisfaction

The present research aims at determining the relationship of spiritual intelligence and spiritual well-being with life quality and marital satisfaction among men and women. The sample includes 320 personnels of hospitals in Maraghah City who were chosen through cluster sampling. King's spiritual intelligence self-report inventory, Paloutzian and Ellison's inventory of spiritual well-being, World Health Organization's inventory of life quality and Enrich marital satisfaction inventory were used to gather data. The results were analyzed by statistical methods, correlation coefficient, regression coefficient and the test for comparing independent means. The research finding is that the relationship of spiritual intelligence and spiritual well-being with life quality and marital satisfaction is positive and significant. Therefore, we can conclude that spiritual intelligence consists of a number of abilities and capacities which make use of spiritual sources for increasing individual's well-being and flexibility.
