Methodology of Innovation Measurement in Iran Police

In this article a methodology is introduced to appraise and measure innovation in Iran police units using innovative method of TOPSIS and weighted average. This method can provide rating for units، comparison among units and set superior unit as model. Therefore regarding the significance of traffic police the suggested methodology is carried out in this unit as pilot so that the way it is used and the possible defects identified and solved. By distribution of questionnaires (self appraisal) among traffic police personnel، the extent of innovation and prosperity in each of traffic police units measured and the results were analyzed. The results indicated that the introduced methodology provides suitable performance in execution. Finally the introduced methodology amended and introduced as final methodology for measurement of innovation in Iran police.
