Presenting A New Method For Real-Time Detection And Tracking Of Moving Flying Targets At Sea

Abstract:
Due the importance of the machine vision systems to object tracking, this is essential to use a system that is stable in different conditions of environment. In this paper, a new method by combining tracking algorithms is used to detect and track objects in different scales, and the video frames in real time. Hybrid algorithm mentioned above, contains two algorithms, scale invariant feature transform [1] and the fast symmetry detection. Scale invariant feature transform is a stable way to change the scale, which is able to detect the object during the tracking. Also, the fast symmetry detection algorithm is capable of real-time tracking of the object. The combination of two features covers the shortage of single feature and two models are used in a synergetic manner. The proposed method was evaluated in different environmental conditions, and the results show the speed increase and stability in the difficult environment.
