Evaluation of factor analysis and reliability of questionnaire of Cultural values in Organization
Culture as values, insights, ideas and patterns of thinking has a main effect on all aspects of social, organizational and individual life. Furthermore, with respect to globalization and increasing effect of culture on international communication and business, it seems that sociology and psychology should be more attended to cultural factors. Evaluating different dimensions of culture, with respect to variability of cultural aspects across time, requires development of valid measure for evaluation of cultural dimensions. The purpose of present study is evaluation of psychometric properties of Hofsted questionnaire of cultural dimensions for Iranian population. In the present study, 300 university students (300 male and 500 female) participated in the study. Data were analyzed using SPSS software by exploratory factor analysis. Factor analysis revealed four factors for Iranian version of questionnaire. The results of Cronbach's alpha showed that reliability of questionnaire is acceptable.
