Citizenship Culture, Personality Characteristics and Their Impact on Citizen Participation in urban Affairs (case Study: City of Esfahan)

At the present decade, with the increasing city population, and urbanization the Citizen Participation in urban development, has been paid too much attention. Therefore, this paper aimed at the impact of some variables, such as personality of citizen upon participation in urban affairs.Research Method was survey and measurement tool was closed questionnaire that have been carried out among citizens of Esfahan (700 samples).Statistical methods such as Pearson correlation, multiple regression and path analysis were applied. To estimate them, LLISREL and SPSS software was used.The analyzed impact rated; show that the variance of the dependent variable was 24 percent.
