Relation Between Spirituality at Work With Behavioral Characteristics in Tehran City Professors

With entrance of spirituality and God into management and Organization field, as 21st century challenge, organization’s managers and leaders especially educational institutions confront with new phenomena and employ as mechanism for increasing and improving extra-role behavior and decreasing negative behavior. This paper explains engaging voluntary and altruistic behaviors and decreasing anti citizenship behavior in the form of spirituality at work. The method of the present research is descriptive correlation and survey research method. Statistical community is included faculty members of Tehran universities. Research findings based on structural equation modeling portend that there is a positive and significant relationship between spirituality at work and Professors organizational citizenship behavior. Also, there is a negative and significant relationship between spirituality at work and anti citizenship behavior. The author of the survey refer to a friendship and integrated atmosphere among faculty members of universities and students through group cooperation, mutual respect and confidence, common goals, organizational justice and prioritizing public interest to personal.
