Repetition in the Poems of the Azarbaijani Style

Particularly important in the Azarbaijani style, repetition is an outstanding feature of the poems belonging to it. Repetition, utilized in diverse forms, has an important role in the artistry, highlighting and de-familiarization of the poems composed in that style. Moreover, as a professional and applied tool, it was enormously used for figures of speech and imagery. This article examines the role and applications of repetition in the Azarbaijani style of Persian poetry.
