Crisis Management Pattern in Imam Khomeini's Thought

This article tries to respond this question: What are the main estates of crisis management pattern in Imam Khomeini's thought? In order to respond this question, after examining the most significant approaches and patterns of crisis management, we select the crisis management pattern of Imam Khomeini (PBUH). Then we study the cases of Iran-Iraq war and the third parliamentary election in Iran as two crises. The first crisis threatened the existence of Islamic system and the second could create a political deadlock for Islamic political system. The main elements of Imam Khomeini's crisis management pattern will be discussed in this study, consisting a combination of two styles in crisis management namely systemic management and charismatic management.
