The Standpoint of Islamic Motalefe towards Political Clergymen before Islamic Revolution

This article deals with examining the relations between Islamic Motalefe and those clergymen who participated in the political arena of Iran (emphasizing the case studies of Imam Khomeini, Ayatollah Shariatmadari and Ayatollah Milani). The approach of this study is based on sociology so that by dealing with the sociological and class characteristics of Motalefe, and analysis of this group (of course before the Islamic Revolution) from the sociological theory of Bourdieu emphasizing on cultural and economic capital has been studied the tendency or non tendency grounds with the aforesaid clergy. On this basis, the article says the political and cultural tendency of Motalefe was closer to the viewpoint of imam Khomeini (although not completely) than Shariatmadari, and this reason caused the attendance of Motalefe with this high order clergyman and of course, the relative similarity there was between Motalefe and Ayatollah Milani, particularly in the political arena.
