The Principles of Freedom of Information and Communication In Islamic Thought and law

Freedom of Information is one of the main principles in the world; it is the main human rights in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as well as the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. In Iran the Freedom of information laws was approved in2009.this paper has tried to investigate the roots of this laws as well as its instances in Islamic sources and tests. For main instances has been introduced as followed: the right of access to information, the right of present in public issues, the right of participation in political and social issues, the right to criticize the government performance. The explanation of these rights can be helpful to respect the human rights, interpret the law and avoid any different idea beyond the law.
