The Social Capital Impact on Quality of Life in Yasouj

The main purpose of this research is study of the impact of social capital on quality of life among inhabitants of Yasouj city. Research method was cross-sectional survey and was carried out with a sample size consisting of 400 subjects using a questionnaire in 15 localities in Yasouj. Research findings showed that the majority of Yasouj inhabitants have the middle and high level of the quality of life. The findings also pointed out that social trust, social networks and social participation as the main aspects of the social capital had a significant positive relationship with the quality of life, but there was no significant relationship between social awareness and the quality of life. The results also showed that there is only significant relationship between marital status and the quality of life among demographic variables.
