Superego and psyche in Freud's perspective

Super ego is the moral part of the personality. Which Sigmund Freud considers as one of the three elements forming the mental realm. Super ego’s demands are in conflict with the demands of Id which leads to much anxiety. He names Narcissism, masochism and parents (as reference power) forming the basis of the Super ego. This article aims to criticize the tripod comprising the Super ego, Have a review of the Super ego as a constructive principle of the mental arena and investigate the possibility of proposing a new model using Freud’s theories.
