Developing a DSS for performance evaluation: A case study in Export Developing Bank of Iran

Message:
Abstract:

In this paper, we propose a new model on personnel performance evaluation considering the job specifications so that the personnel are evaluated based on the job rather than only individual specifications. This is the major contribution of this paper. Based on the proposed model, for both individual and job specifications, the corresponding criteria are determined with different factors. The individual criteria are obtained from different researches and are filtered and classified into three social, technical and management groups. The job specifications are also collected from the a previous valid research. We have used the pair wise comparison of normal and fuzzy AHP in order to determine the factor numbers of the individual criteria and normal AHP in order to determine the factor numbers of the job criteria. Finally, each personnel is given score (at most 5) regarding the criteria and all the personnels are ranked using TOPSIS method. The whole steps are presented in the form of a decision support system and is implemented in the Export Developing Bank of Iran.
