An Investigation into the Relationship of Participatory Management to Organizational Commitment and Mental health of High School Teachers
The present study sought to explore the relationship of participatory management to organizational commitment and mental health of high school teachers in Darab city. The sample of this descriptive-correlational study included all 250 teachers in the academic year of 2010-2011. The data were collected using three questionnaires of participatory management (r=0. 85)، organizational commitment (r=0. 90) and mental health (r=0. 89). To analyze the data، descriptive and inferential (Pearson correlation، and regression analysis) statistics were utilized in this study. Data analysis revealed that there was a significantly positive relationship among all three variables. From among participatory management dimensions، decision-making could significantly predict organizational commitment and mental health.
