Obstacles Ahead of the Implementation of Organizational Strategies in Iranian State Universities

This study was an attempt to identify the obstacles ahead of the successful implementation of organizational strategies in Iranian East Azerbaijan State universities based on Nothon and Kaplan’s Model. As an applied and field research, the study used a researcher-made questionnaire to collect the required data and its content validity was assured via expert consultation while the reliability was estimated using Cronbach Alpha method releasing %79. Both descriptive and inferential statistics including one sample t-tests and ANOVA were run. The findings revealed that the variables such as insufficient allocation of full resources (M=4.14), ill-managerial commitment (M=3.69), inadequate staff alignment (M=3.37), and insufficient transfer of strategies (M=2.73) have been identified as the most and least effective variables deterring the successful implementation of the organizational strategies.
