Conceptualization of the Strategy of Asymmetric Warfare and Factors Affecting its Success and Efficiency

What does asymmetric warfare strategically mean? What are the effective factors on the success and efficiency of the strategy of asymmetric warfare? As a library research, this study attempted to answer these questions. The findings revealed that asymmetric warfare strategically means: employment of unconventional and innovative methods to strike physically and mentally the enemy utilizing one's strengths and the enemy's weaknesses in imposing one's wills. Moreover, it was revealed that two main factors affect the success and efficiency of the strategy of asymmetry warfare including:1- Organizational factors classified as both software and hardware sub-factors2- Environmental factors including geographical and propaganda media.
