Designing the Measurement Model of Student's Satisfaction with Library of Agricultural Faculty in University of Zanjan Using Confirmatory Factor Analysis

The main objective of this study was to design the measurement model of students‘ satisfaction with library of agricultural faculty in University of Zanjan using confirmatory factor analysis. Methodologically, the study was a descriptive- correlative research. The statistical population of the study consisted of all the M.Sc. students who were member in the library (N=832). According to the Krejcie & Morgan table, a sample size of 168 was selected using the random sampling technique (n=168). Data were collected by a questionnaire. The content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by a panel of experts. The confirmatory factor analysis was used in order to determine the construct validity (e.g. convergent, divergent and nomological validity) and the reliability of the instrument and estimate the measurement model using the AMOS software. The results showed that importance of the all five factors mentioned in the research conceptual model has been verified based on field data (appropriate fit of the model) and these factors including: services quality, facilities and environment of library, resources quality of library, logistic services and structures and equipment had a significant relationship with construct of students‘ satisfaction with library of agricultural faculty in University of Zanjan. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the theoretical foundation of the study was valid and the developed model/ scale for measuring the students‘ satisfaction with library of agricultural faculty in University of Zanjan was appropriate.
