The relationship between service quality in academic libraries to student's level of generalized trust toward librarians: (the case of Central Library and Documents Center of University of Tehran)

in the current research, the quality of services provided by Central Library and Documents Center of University of Tehran, and its Role of student's Generalized trust toward librarian has been studied. Through Survey Method and Questionnaire technique, a sample of 308 students selected by relatively classified sampling method findings of this research show that independent variables including (Effect of service (Librarians), Information control, Space and Place, and order and Harmony) have significant relation with dimensions of dependent variable (Generalized trust toward librarian). Among all, variable of Effect of service (Librarians) have the strongest relation with dependent variable. Results of regression analysis depicts that independent variables - entered in regression equation- predicts %45 of dependent variable variance.Originality/ value: This Research has been carried out for First Time in the area of social science and Academic libraries in particular to investigate the Relationship between the Quality of library services and generalized trust toward librarian is discussed.
