Assessing resource-based teaching method on the basis of realizing higher education goals and its relation to the university libraries goals and services

Purpose
The purpose of this study is assessing and analyzing of resource-based teaching method if it can realize the goals of higher education. It is also assessing how such method relates to the goals and activities of the university library.Methodology / Approach: The study is a theoretical one and also an analytical review.Findings
Implementing resource-based teaching method, passive students are imposed to act, teacher role is also changed to a guidance. Implementing the method, it is more needed cooperation between librarian and teacher. Cooperating with each other, they can identify the library resources to the students and how to use them. Regarding rapid changes in all areas especially in technology, librarians can act as a research advisors or supervisors using resource-based teaching method benefits and achieving related skills. They can facilitate research process and help teachers and student.Keywords:
