Prediction of Job Burnout based on Personality Dimensions of Soccer Players of Khuzestan Province

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to predict the job burnout among club soccer players in Khuzestan province. The statistical community was the club team soccer players at 3 league (Premier، 1 and 2) in the 91-92 season (N=154). 128 of players responded to the questionnaires. This is a descriptive correlation study. Measurement tools were Maslash career burnout and Goldberg personality dimensions questionnaire. For data analysis Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regressions techniques were used. Based on the results، relation between the depersonalization and emotional stability and openness; and between emotional exhaustion and openness was significant. Also، there is a multiple relationship between dimensions of personality and job burnout in players and openness to experience and emotional stability، are the strongest predictors for amount of players'' burnout. At the end of this study، will recommend to the administrators that، in attracting young players، they have to do more attention to players'' dimensions of personality، for dealing with atrophy.
