The evaluation of graduate and post-graduate student's information literacy at the faculty of national resources and marine sciences Tarbiat Modares University

Abstract:
The aim of this research is to access evaluating of graduate students information literacy faculty of natural resources and marine sciences tarbiatModarres University, based on»information literacy standard features for higher education (ACRL)». The type of research is descriptive and methods used in the survey and data collection was done with the questionnaire The questionnaire included 87 closed questions, that was prepared, on the basis of five standard feature of the information literacy of America (ACRL). The statistical society of research included 224 students of PhD and MSc students, colleges Natural Resources and Marine Sciences TarbiatModarres University that 151 persons answered to answer sheet. For analysis the data, descriptive statistical inferential methods were used. For analysis the data, descriptive statistical inferential methods were used. Results show that student's information literacy is aboveaverage and between the MA and Ph. D. Students in information literacy, there are significant differences.
