Comparative Study of Love from Rumi's and Yunus Emreh's Viewpoint
Love is one of the basic principles and teachings in most mystics'' worldviews. Many of whom take love as the essential condition in the spiritual journey toward the almighty and achieving cognition and certainty. In Rumi''s school of thought this has a lofty position for human being achieving the perfection and cognition of the almighty essence. Because of the high impression of Rumi''s school of thought and ideaology on Yunus Emrah (Turkish mystic poet، this concept has a remarkable significance and has appeared to be a turning point for his thoughts and mentality. Thus، this paper tries to present a comparative study of the concept of love on accounts of the mystical poetry of Rumi and Yunus Emrah. In fact، the goal is to analyze the common and different viewpoints of the two poets towards love and its nature.
