Abstract:
substance abuse is a common problem among individuals with mental illness and so Many chronic drug abusers often simultaneously suffer from a serious mental disorder. Several hypotheses about the relationship between these two disorders (such as Priority,co-occurrence, Causal or dual relationships)has been proposed.Most research evidence supports the conclusion that these two disorders are separate and Eachof thesecan increase the risk of another. This does not mean that one causes the other.
