Designing the Information and Communication Model for Empowering the Woman Members of Micro-credit Fund with Monotheism Paradigm in Lapuy Village of Fars Province

Considering the importance of women's empowerment to overcome the acute inequalities, this paper reviews four types of empowerment paradigms including structuralism, functionalist, interpretive, and humanist. Due to insufficient success, an alternative 'monotheism' paradigm, which is compatible with human nature and divine laws, is presented. To put it in action, a field study on micro-credit fund of Lapuy village in Fars province of Iran is conducted and the concerned adjustable model of communication and information is designed. The study sample includes 60 women and the data are gathered through observation, in-depth interview and survey methods. A panel of experts verifies measuring instrument face validity and a pilot study is used to assess its reliability (α=0.82). The study findings reveal the clear differences between two women groups. So, two separate communication models, based on social and psychological theories, for each group are designed for insight and conscience empowerment as well as moral, skills and behavioral empowerment. The steps of women empowerment will lead to participation, holistic and community-oriented wisdom.
