An Analysis of Geopolitics of Political Islam and The Impact of The Islamic Revolution

Geopolitics of Islam discusses role and impact of Islamic values and Islamic parameters on relationship and interaction among the three elements of geography, politics and power. Geopolitics has two types: traditional and critical. This paper is a critical analysis of periods of the Islamic resistance discourse that has there has been four waves of geopolitic of Islamic resistance since nineteenth century onwards. Islamic revolution was the third one which has special place not only in Shia but also in the Islamic world. This Paper aims at examining the status and credit of Iran’s leadership in the Islam geopolitics based on David Easton's theory. According to Easton theory, this study tries to find effective factors in maintainance and stability of Iran's Leadership in Islam geopolitics. This a is a descriptive – analytical rescarch conducted via library means.
