Analyzing Ibn Khaldun Ideas as a Sociologist with Emphasis on Emil Dorkim,s Methodology

The present research aims at criticizing and analyzing ibn khaldun ideas as a sociologist with emphasis on Emil dorkim, s methodology. The author of the survey intents to clarify that whether ibn khaldun is a sociologist or not? Theme of the research is based on methodological opinions of Emil dorkim and a descriptive- analysis library research. The results of the research indicate that three criteria which are important in sociology are observed in ibn khaldun,s studies: a)subject b) method c) answering the fundamental questions in sociology science. The author of the article concludes ibn khaldun is proved to be a sociologist based on planned criteria and Emil dorkim methodological rules.
