Assessment of Organizational Citizenship Behavior Status among Tabriz University Faculty Members

Abstract:
The main purpose of this research was to study the Organizational Citizenship status of faculty members of Tabriz University. A survey research method was used. The statistical population included all tabriz university faculty members. About(227) faculty members using proportional stratified random sampling method were selected as study sample. The data gathering instrument was “Podsakoffs organizational citizenship behaviors scale”. The validity of scale was reported as acceptable by experts and its reliability using cronbach alpha was estimated to be. /77. The collected data using descriptive and inferential statistics were analyzed. Research finding showed that the faculty members Citizenship behavior was normal and the priority of Citizenship behavior in order were Humility, Fairness, Task implementing and civil virtues.
