The present research has been done in response to one question: which approach can help reducing female poverty in region 18 Tehran and thus achieving urban sustainable development index? Moreover, basis on hypothesis: female job empowering project can effect on economic anti-poverty trend and therefore urban sustainable development. We referred and studied theories related to subject (such as: gender theories, labor market theories, anti-poverty theories, social capital, empowerment and sustainable development theories) in order to arrange research questions and varieties (job empowerment as independent variety and Anti-poverty project as dependent variety). The samples were 200 women from employed women group in study region. We determined the level of sufficient anti-poverty, which has been resulted from employment for three groups of women, through using variance analysis and regression. The results showed that as job employment of women has been increased in comparative with women who have obtained scores, they have more succeeded in self anti-poverty.
