Locating homes robbery in situational crime prevention approach

The current research has been done in order to analyze effects of burglary. The burglary threats the social and economic security of citizens and has a relationship with the order and security of the country. In khoy city، the rate of this crime is increasing and the authorities are thinking of this phenomenon. As، the offenders decide the position of crime on the ground of economic position and logically so it is important for the authorities to find out and recognize the effective factors in crime situation selection by offenders. Statistical group in this research covering those persons who have been arrested by khoy police in 1386 and the personnel''s of khoy police stations. the data was opted questionnaires and interview approach. After derivation of data these have been analyzed. The results showed that the relation and efficiency of all factors were effective in crime situation selection by offenders according to the answers of respondents. The first hypothesis (with 88/8 average) in first priority، the second hypothesis (with 80/9 average) in fourth priority have the most effect on in crime situation selection. So we can result that: with planning and proper management of physical environment by city planners and designers، we would be able to increase social supervision in urban districts and decreasing the population density and activities in dense districts of town and so prevention of burglary.
