Feminine Style in Tājossaltane's Memoirs

One of the goals of feminine style is taking advantage of the findings of linguistic in order to analyze the stylistic features of the works written by women. This article intends to search for the feminine features of Tājossaltane’s Memoirs، a very remarkable feminine prose in Qajar dynasty. The studied features include markedness of the words، frequent use of the expressive elements like adjectives and adverbs، implicit or even ambiguous structures، the role of intensifiers، vocative and invocative sentences، paranthesis، ungrammatical forms، unfinished sentences، effect of suprasegmental features، simplification، particularism، and representation of feelings and body. It should be mentioned that the personal position and social status of the author have concealed some of the feminine elements. In addition، his high education is the reason for a great amount of complicated sentences
