Challenge of successful KMSs implementation: exploration of effective factors on KM acceptance via mixed method

Abstract:
Regarding strategic importance of KM and its significant effect on sustaining competitive advantage, achieving to KM objectives are difficult in practice and has faced with challenges which one of the major challenges could be reluctance of users in KMS acceptance and use. In this paper in order to exploitation of comprehensive model, effective factors of knowledge initiatives are extracted via mixed method in which systematic literature review along with open codding of grounded theory are applied to enrich extracted factors and identifying native factors. Finally, in order to validating developed model, number of KM experts and specialists are asked to assess the factors and collected data were analyzed with structural equation modelling (SEM) The findings of the study can be used as a tool for evaluating KM initiative and identifying weaknesses and strengths of KM project in user’s point of view. Findings also propose some suggestions to assist KMS developers for developing systems which has more participation of users.
