Pathology of IRIAF Basic Trainings Effectiveness From the Viewpoint of Students and Commanders in the Line Units

The aim of this study is identifying existing weaknesses in the basic trainings of the IRIAF from the viewpoint of the students and administrative unit commanders. This research is an applied and descriptive study.Statistical population of the research include thelearners ofbasic military training courses in Shahid Sattari Air Universityand commanders of the line unitsstationed in Tehran during 2014 amongwhich100 people were selected by non-probability sampling method. Required data were collected by means of interviews and questionnaires and were analyzed using inferential statistical tests (K S test, the mean of a population). Findings showed that there are some weaknesses inall of the three studied dimensions of the basic trainings(learner satisfaction, behavioral changes and key results).butthere was not any considerable weaknessin the field of learning dimension, because all students pass the final exam.
