Presenting a Model for Explaining Relationship between Sociological and Psycological Factors with Student's Sense of Social Security (Case Study: Students of Chaharmahal Bakhtiari Province)

considering the fact that security is one of the vital needs of human community and the social and cultural stability and strength in every society depend on the the amount of security and sense of security of that society, research and study on this issue is of a great importance. This article seeks to present a model for explaining the relationship between sociological and psychological factors and students’ sense of social security. the research method is of a descriptive type which is conducted in correlational method with an applied purpose. The research population consists of junior high and high school and pre-university students in Chaharmahal Bakhtiari Province. 210 students were randomly selected using multi-stage random sampling method. The obtained data were analyzed using correlation analysis, regression analysis, and path analysis. Findings and the research findings showed that there is a significant relationship between students’ collaboration motives with the police, situational crime prevention, students’ protection by police, students’ tendency to police career, and sense of social security. In addition, the variables of students’ protection by the police and students’ collaboration motives with the police best explain the students’ sense of social security.
