Recognition the Addressee of the 31st Letter of Nahj al-Balagha by analyzing the sources, text and the history

Abstract:
Nahj al-Balagha as a most famous source of Sayings of Imam Ali (a. s.)، Includes letters that have been sent to his governors، children and residents of cities، with various purposes. A letter that is known as the 31st letter of the book، in Sharif al-Radi’s view، was written to Imam Hasan ibn Ali (a. s.) during return from Siffin. This Essay try to present a new survey on it''s addressee by analysing texts، history and chain of Narratives، following a study of sources of his sayings before and after the Sharif al-Radi. As a result، this theory Strengthened that it’s real addressee is not imam Hasan (a. s.) but the other son، Muhammad ibn Hanafiyyah. Accordingly ٍُSome perceptions of the 31st letter need to be reviewed and one of the main reasons of opponents the Infallibly for Imam who have referred to the letter، will be annulled. who have referred to the letter، will be annulled.
