The Dabiri (secretary) position during the Sasanian

Ardashr Babkan after defeating Artaban the fifth، established new empire. Sasanian gradually form a great empire which for organization of such great empire it was necessary they have new and strong administration. One of those administrator which had high position was title of Dabiri (Secretary) and had important rule in the Royal court. At top this position was Dabir-Bod who directly was in contact with the King and supervises over other Dabirs and play crucial rule in administration system. Though some work has done about administration system of Sasanian، but no single research had been devoted specially to position of Dabiri in this period، thus in this paper it has been tried to examine the position of Dabiri during Sasanian based on old texts and using historical and analytical method of research. For this purpose the root of this word will be identified and then position of Dabiri and its duty in this period will be investigated.
