The Relationship between Drug Addiction and Increase of Crime Rate

The present study aims at investigating the effect of drug addiction on the dimunitive crime rate in Tabriz. Dimunitive crimes have been less-attended due to certain reasons.Such crimes can lead to the weakening of the sense of security.All the cases related to the dimunitive crimes in 2011 formed the statistical sample of the study. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. The study is an applied descriptive research. SPSS was used to analyze the collected data.The findings of the study demonstrated that there was a significant relationship between the drug abuse and dimunitive crime rate. No significant relationships were seen between personal features and theft.
