An investigation on the relationship between air pollutants and meteorological parameters in Shiraz

With regard to the relationship between pollutants and meteorological parameters, in this study, we had studied preliminary on the daily, monthly and annual changes pollutants in the two stations and then we have studied on the meteorological parameters associated with the concentration of pollutants that we can be investigated the amount of type of relation and the relationship between pollutants and meteorological parameters. The effect of different daily meteorological parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, rainfall and the amount of pollutant concentrations were measured. Required data from the Shiraz Meteorological Bureau and pollution measurement stations affiliated with the Shiraz Environmental Protection Agency (Imam Hossein Square and Kazeroon gate) prepared and the data of period 2009 to 2013 are used. The results showed that there are two maximum levels for CO and NOX that could be happen in summer and winter. O3 maximum have been happen in spring and summer. All of pollutants have had two maximum levels except O3 that will be happen in early morning and late night. But about maximum and minimum O3will be happen at afternoon and night, respectively. The Maximum rate of CO in summer is higher than morning; however the Maximum rate of CO at winter in morning and night is the same.
