Faghih (Jurist) as an Engineer: A Critical Evaluation on the Epistemological Place of Jurisprudence

The present study aims at shedding light on the importance of engineering and its relation to jurisprudence. The method used in this research is text analysis. 1- The results of the study are as follows:jurists, like engineers, should improve their knowledge of the newly emerging fields of human activities 2- Due to the complexity of modern issues Jurists, like engineers, should develop specialised expertise within their profession. In the light of the rapid pace of changein various aspects of the modern life, if Jurisprudence does not adapt itself in appropriate and effective ways it may, like many other outmoded technologies, become obsolete and redundant.
