Proximity thoughts of Shi a and Sonni: Nader Shah's Sunnite policy

Abstract:
The subject of this article is about Sunnite tendency of Nader Shah in 1148 till 1160 (H.A). Because Safavid government was supporting Shi’a (907-1135 H.A) so Sonni were became in minority. The invasion of Sonni Afghans to Esfahan and aggression of Turkish Ottoman to land of Iran with religious excuses made Nader Shah to solve the existing political crisis and decrease Shi’a and Sonni’s conflict, so he consider to Sonni and Shi’a proximity. Therefore, on one hand he conformed Shi’a sect to other sects and on other hand he tries to solve Shi’a and Sonni’s conflict with idea of religious proximity and establishing Jafari’s Sect. Insofar, he not only avoid from crisis of Sonni states’ ructions but also end up to conflicts with Ottoman government. Still land’s rupture and divergence’s lands of Sonni people were also existed and Ottoman government didn’t accept such a religious compromise. This research wrote with utilizing from library sources and with descriptive-analytic method.
