Relationship between the attendance of militants in border areas and mental health
Abstract:
Introduction
mental health is one central factor that increases the job efficiency of employees. This study assessed the effect of stress on mental health of militants in border areas. Methods
The population for this study was included every military personnel who deployed in the border areas during the study period. The population consists of different level of education. 173 persons were selected through the systematic sampling technique. SCL90 questionnaire was used for measuring mental health and mental disorders. Results
Significant relationship were observed between increasing days of stopping in border areas and scores of psychotic، paranoid، phobic، anxiety، hostility، depression، and somatization disorder. The highest correlation was observed between the stopping in border areas and obsession. Discussion
