Studying thr Effect of Organizational Commitment and Emotional Intelligence on the organizational Readiness for Change

The main requirement of any organization is change; governmental and nongovernmental¡ beneficial and no beneficial organizations are faced with changes and need them¡ that various stakeholders¡ expect them. The present research has been conducted with the purpose of studying the effect of emotional intelligence and organizational commitment on the organizational readiness. Sometimes we seek the change to develop organizational competencies¡ sometimes we want to create a happy¡ creative work environment to attract and retain the best HR we can¡ and sometimes change is for the survival. In most organizations¡ the three types of changes exist. After studying literature and examining the patterns in the issue and the formation of a theoretical framework¡ important variables and assumption in the study were specified. A questionnaire which was used to measure the variables and among 132 employees of Social Security Organization in Tehran based on random sampling¡ was distributed. Test hypotheses using structural equation modeling showed that Components of emotional intelligence and organizational commitment have a significant impact on organizational readiness for change. Finally¡ in order to improve the effectiveness of the factors affecting the readiness for change¡ some suggestions have been made.
