Relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and Knowledge Management (Case Study: Mellat Bank)

Abstract:
Purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and knowledge management in Mellat Bank. Organizational citizenship behavior dimensions are defined based on Organ Model and knowledge management dimensions are defined based on Newman and Conrad Model. The Statistical society is about 700 people of employees in the head office. In order to test assumptions¡ 85 people were selected with random sampling. Data gathering tools are 35 questions based on two questionnaires: Organ and Newman and Conrad Models. Resulted data was summarized and classified collecting the questionnaires¡ and in the inferential level¡ Spearman rank correlation was used. Findings of research show confirmation of all the research assumptions. In other words¡ there is a significant relationship between organizational citizenship behavior (and its sub-variables) and knowledge management.
