The Function of Social Brain and Core Cognitive Performances: Conformity and Memory

Introduction
It seems that conformity, as a social ability, and memory, as a basic cognitive ability, serve to better adapt to the environment. The purpose of this research was to study the relationship between conformity and various kinds of memories (retrospective/prospective, short term/long term, self-cued/environ-cued).Methods
The current study is a descriptive-correlational research by using prediction (regression) method. For doing this, 137 students were selected via the multistage cluster method from Bonab and Tabriz Payam Noor universities. For gathering data, the Conformity L-72 Test and Prospective and Retrospective (PRMQ) Questionnaires were used. The data were analyzed by using Pierson Correlation test and Liner Regression methods.Results
