Obstacles of Imam Ali's Equitable Government
When Amir Al-Mumenin Ali (pbuh) became caliph, the most important of his plans was a reformation to lead Islamic society back to Allah's traditions and the Messenger's society. After Prophet Muhammad's death, Imam Ali's opponents struggled to restore the nation to the time of Ignorance. By the use of remained traditions and customs, they tried to put obstacles in the way of Imam Ali's government. There are different factors for these obstacles. Some of them originated from the tribal culture and the prevailing views in the society; and some other ones are related to the changes that were made during pervious caliphs. These obstacles led Muslims astray. The existence of these obstacles resulted in the occultation of Imam Mahdi, the last one of Allahs leaders on the earth. We are waiting for Mahdi's reappearance while we are doing our best to recognize and remove these obstacles.
