Study of Relationship between Manager's Transformational Leadership Style and Employee's Entrepreneurial Behaviors

The aim of this study was to finding the relationship between managers’ transformational leadership style and employees’ entrepreneurial behaviors. The method of this research was descriptive (correlation) and the total population included all of the managers and staff members employed at the Sport and Youth Organization of the Isfahan Province in 1393 (N= 405). The size of the participants was calculated 196 according to the Kerjcie and Morgan’s method. The method of sampling was stratified random sampling since the population of the staff members employed at the Sport and Youth Departments is vary in different cities of the Isfahan Province. Two reliable questionnaires for measuring the entrepreneurship and transformational leadership style (MLQ) were employed in this research. Also, the regression and correlation tests were used for analyzing the data. The results indicated that there is a positive and significant correlation between managers’ transformational leadership style and staff’s entrepreneurial behavior. Furthermore, it is found that managers’ transformational leadership style affects the staff’s innovation, interaction, risk tacking and opportunity identifying factors.
