A Study of growth parameters and biomass of aquatic plants Ceratophyllum demersum and Angel fish (Pterophyllum scalare) by linear fluorescent lamps (LFL)

In this examination, performance of different luminous flux liner fluorescent lamps on increasing hornwort biomass and also growth and survival of Angel fishes are surveyed. For this purpose, the fluorescent lamp T8, T5, T4, and a control group (without lamps), and three replicates were used for 8 weeks. Fluorescent lamps did significantly affect the hornwort biomass and growth factors of Angel fish, So that using fluorescent lamp T5 had higher hornwort biomass and also growth performances and was significant with other treatments ( P 0.05).In general ,from the results of this experiment can be concluded that using T5 fluorescent lamp leads to effect on hornwort biomass and growth factors .
