The role of government intervention in domestic violence against women in terms of human rights

Abstract:
In recent decades, Violence against women had been one of the most important issues of human rights . Despite the fact that, deal with all forms of violence is so importance but domestic violence , as the best example of violence, because of widespread in the world and physical and psychological damage to women is considered by the States and the solutions have been applied in both domestic and international. However, domestic violence has always been one of the major challenges in the implementation of human rights. This leads to the question: What is the role of government intervention in domestic violence? Since the instances of domestic violence is different in various countries, so government intervention should be proportionate to the culture and interests of society; and should be recognized inthe framework of mutual respect in the international arena. Nowadays , the states especiallywestern states pursue national interests. Increasing the number of domestic violence against women is a reason for this claim. According to this, this research will analyze the role of government intervention in violence by descriptive- analytical method.
