INTRODUCTION OF COUMPOUND DRUG;RAMAK,IT'S PRODUCTION PROCESS AND CLINICAL EFFECT

Background and Ramak is one of the coumpound drugs,which it`s positive clinical effects have been proved by the physicians over the centries.since there are different formulas and varius usage of this drug,this research has been aimed to reintroduce the drug at a glance.
Methods and materials:This study was done through library`s research which was reviewing 17 different references of Iranian traditional medicine and pharmacology books in order to identify and present ramak different formulas, production processes and clinical effects; especialy, ramak different formula, weight`s of component, production processes and clinical effects were compared and the most common and valid version of ramak formula and it`s production process was determined.
It seems that ramak had an effective and proved formula and it is suggested that by planning clinical trials ramak clinical effects will be distinguished.
