A Study on Life Quality among Married Women in Family Institution

Abstract:
This paper provides research-based evidence to explore the patterns and determinants associated with women’s quality of life. The discussion of this paper is based on the results of a study conducted in Tabriz City. The sample of this study includes 384 married women. According to the findings of this study, the following main patterns can be addressed. First, working women are more likely to hold a higher level of life quality than those who do not work outside the home. Second, the quality of life is positively affected by these determinants: women’s education, the income and education of husband. Finally, the findings have not supported a significant effect of other factors on women’s life quality. This includes such factors as women’s income, number of children, length of marital life, and husband’s occupation.
